Hey all, before I proceed with the heavy stuff I wanna know if you think the facial features are in the right places, I've been looking at it for hours so my eyes have adapted.

I thought I'd post the image that this is based on. I want to rework the old version because I did it back in '99 and it's just not up to scratch anymore. You can go heavy on this one if you want since I could learn more about the flaws in my old style.

Well I think the anatomy is a little off maybe giving the poor guy ears, more of a nose and I think the head needs to be a bit smaller.
Looks fine to me, for whatever it is.

Haha, thanks.
Oh he's got ears (Damn I was going to post about that before!) It's just that they're in the sunken cheek areas. Anyway I know you were kidding thanks for the input Mr.Kh
What I'm really looking at now is the curvature of the face, do you reckon the left eye would be sticking out so far? I think I'll sink that one back a bit and rethink the eyelids anyway.

Looks good generally. I agree about the eye, I think it shouldn't be that much in view considering how deep under the brow the left eye seems to be.

S4Sb, Rhomb, thanks for the valuable comments, always appreciated
I never expected that eye to be such a problem, it's so hard to get right. It's progressing anyway.
