This is a picture that I'm working on for this month's Draw Club. I started it a couple days ago and today I had a chance to work on it some more...Anyway, I got to a stopping point for it tonight and I'm probably going to finish it up tomorrow. Any helpful comments or critiques on the work I've done so-far would be greatly appreciated, as would any ideas about what else to add to it. Thanks ^_^

Holy cowzers! It's Frost. THE Frost is complimenting my art??? *drops dead* ...No really, thanks for your kind comment, but I still can't believe an awesome artist like you would say that. Would some other people like to give me their opinion too? I was wondering about the lighting because I'm not used to working with two sources in one picture. |

Chicken is good :P. Well, I've been working on it some more. Is it better? is it worse? Or should I ask?

Thanks Hurri-cane, glad ya like the treetops (should I put any sort of leaves on them..hmmm?). I'm not real sure what you mean by adding more detail to the fur, though. I guess that would be putting more individual brush strokes there or something? |

So what you think of the latest version? I'm especially curious about the lights and leaves that I put on the trees, and the glow I put around the lanterns... |

Looks very nice with additions you have made just one little thing, i think you have to much of a glow around the main latern, try breaking up the glow slightly around the surronding particles.

could you posably make the little leaves in the back to look even more like the little teddybeary things? Like the teddybearys are actualy the leaves. Little creatures that live as leaves? ITs just an idea.
I do like the adding of the leaves in your second picture. Nice lighting to. |

Thanks guys, I spent a little time working on the lanterns...as you can see in the new version of the second picture. Jason, I think making the leaves look more like the creatures would be interesting, but would take too much time (each creature took a while to draw). |
