This is just a quick lighting test 15min. What could I improve on it.

Nice start,

You should turn up the light. Allow the violet light to show on more of the facial planes. Ralax and let it happen.

it kind'a looks like he has a gash in his forehead.. maybe going a little lighter on the shadows?

very good. really. but' of course a few comments-
1)the bright strip on the forehead is too wierd. u should've made a very blurred and week stain of violet instead of a shrap strip.
2)the ear is not build up properly. if u add the currect details to it u will have more details to toy with the lightning on.
3)the eyes r completely drak. if u made the pupils and the other small details of the eye u could add a reflection of the purple light source there. it could add a lot to it.

basically it's really good. thumbs up
