I was working on in Photoshop.
I may actually finalize this one, but I'm not too sure yet. If I do, I have a LOT of work left, since this is very early.

Yo
Are those clouds painted, or are they a photo?

Doesn't matter anyways. No one replies or cares about my work. I'm out. |

Vassago: Hey man! Don't go (I was chatting to someone who was saying just the same thing). Don't be upset when people don't reply to your topics. I've seen guys bust their asses on a pic and get like 1 or 2 replies when some of the top artists post something to a chorus of "MMMMMmmmoi! MMMMMMmmmoi! Oh luvvy, I just LOVE your style...". Chill man, your work kicks ass and it would be a real shame not to see more of your work here.
I was really worried actually when I saw this pic as it was much better than the one I just posted!!! I Like the idea of opposing forces in this pic. It would nice to bring out the two entities a bit more and make their appearance a bit more dynamic and intense.
[edit - even if the clouds are part of a photo it doesn't matter, it's still digital art, and I think some people here are a bit wary of photo-manip]

I'm liking it. The evil cloud (heh)is sweet, the good cloud would be sweet if you just got rid of the little white pupils and attempted something else. The whispy chin/beard is very cool, just try not to structure the face so much, let it take on a more wind blown feel. Use shadows to represent whats there.
eg: eyes, use the sockets and brows to place shadows strategically.
Also try not to loose the original blues to much.
Keep it up!

yea, very good work, at first pass you don't really notice the faces in the clouds and fire. But after looking at it again, it gives it a lot more personality. Would like to see more! |
