OK i was bored as hell and got ack to practicing lighting and such..This is just the different steps i went through to get where i am now, still unfinished but close...
First the sketch -

Then Add a little rough color -

Add a Little more color and fix up areas -

Then add an Afro and an ear, and your at where i am now whoohoo -

All was done in photoshop with a mouse, no reference...someone said it looekd like martin luther king jr. Kinda does maybe my hand had a mind of its own heh...Comments please , the more the merrier, ah what else was i gonna say ....oh yeah it not done yet i still have to smooth it out and add a background etc.. blah blah blah

hmm....the first sketch is just a simple outline of a reference...and the other ones all you did was pick a color and go over the reference with a pintbrush in another layer.

What are you talking about?
