hi!
ive been watching crouching tiger, hidden dragon over and over (excellent movie) and it inspired me to draw this
(she is supposed to be running down the wall)
right now, the perspective looks off and the bottom half of the figure looks a little bit ambiguous. i hope to blow it up and add more details later. any comments or suggestions?
thanks. |

I love this drawing and that Movie. I'd hafta say it's one of my favorites ever! Do you have it? I really really need to get it. Mind telling me where I could get it our perhaps you could send it to me?
Anyhoo, back to the picture. Needs to be darker more moon lit, more atmosphere.

`What sort of people live about here?' asked Alice.
`In that direction,' the Cat said, waving its right paw round, `lives a Hatter: and in that direction,' waving the other paw, `lives a March Hare. Visit either you like: they're both mad.'
`But I don't want to go among mad people,' Alice remarked.
`Oh, you can't help that,' said the Cat: `we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad...' |

A second window on the wall would help to identify that it is a wall, it simply more elements placed around to give the impression of the "virticalness" of the perspective. Perhaps a lantern hanging from the lip of the roof, other buildings in the background, perhaps a tree?

darrin : VERY good point. I can see it now that you mention it, but you should make it obvious that it's a wall, and not a rooftop. A tree on the left would be good, and the lamp is a good idea too. are you gonna put the moon and stars in, or just leave it dark? |

Man, that was a fantastic movie. Must see it again!
Yeah, I was just going to suggest a lantern, but someone beat me to it. A latern would be very helpful, especially if it were hanging, rather than wall mounted.
I'm not too fond of that bright purple suit... |

as for the bright purple suit.. the colours actually came out brighter and more purple after saving the image as a jpeg.. something wrong with my colour settings, maybe? ![](http://www.sijun.com/dhabih/ubb/confused.gif) |
