Ugh. I've been lurking these forums for ages, and I'd planned on waiting until I had something really impressive before I posted...but sheer frustration has dragged me out of my lurk box. Someone, please, do tell me--What have I done to this poor, innocent image, and how can I undo it? This was supposed to be a picture of a toad. I don't know where my toad went, and there are ghosts all over the place. And there's something squonky with the composition, but I can't quite nail it.

Is this all hand-done?
I think that if you took the ghosts out of the image it would look really, really cool. I love this pic. Lots of atmosphere and mood to it.
It might be neat to see an eerie, foggy horizon line in the back - maybe with some silhouettes <sp?> in the back or a crescent moon...
Do you have a larger version available to look at?

Hooray! I really like this toady chap, he has such wonderful skin. He looks so serious, too.
Now all we need is for you to get the magnificent toad onto the beautiful swampy background, and we're all set! ![](http://www.sijun.com/dhabih/ubb/smile.gif) |

Yep--hand done, on good old Photoshop.... You're absolutely right, of course--those ghosts have to go. The original version is...oh, what...3000 X 1000-something pixels, so I suppose I COULD put a larger version up. (Not THAT large, of course). I'll have to spend a lot more time on it first, though--for some reason, that image just doesn't do it for me. Anyway, I've spent all morning during a boring lecture working on the REAL toad pic on my laptop. (This time, it actually has a toad in it!) I can't upload it from here, but when I get home and get it fixed up....
Thanks for the advice, though, and especially thanks for the praise. I needed that. ;-) |

The toad looks great!
And I'd love to see a larger version of that original image if you have one... not full size ofc, but just something to get a better view. The one you posted of sort of small
