I knew about win2k logging and memory hogging, but thanks to good peoples here i tweaked the hell out of my windows
Now tell me, is this normal to boot w2k, try running something from desktop and it;'ll freeze for 20 seconds? |

| Negative Delta brother. Win2k on a straight boot (no partition stuff) should not lag at any point. Unless, you have some form of harware conflict or software incompatibility. Many Variables to contend with. More Knowledge of your system would be required to diagnose. |

Probably every peoples here who have a PC use it with Win2000 (good men!). I actially just installed it a few days ago and set up things that i found, but im sure there are more secrets in w2k. Can anyone give me some tunup tips here cause the link on faustgfx "how to tune up your NT" doesnt work! hehhe
Also i got a lil problem lately when i boot sometimes it hangs on blue logon screen (without logon window) and then if i boot ok, and try to run progs from shortcuts the desktop freezes (!) for about 20 secs. hehe, help? |

Ya i noticed not all stuff lags when i try to launch it. Only dialup, netzero, and napster (so im GUESSING something is wrong with net software). This started happening about same time as i installed 3dmax4 but it didnt work very long, and started giving errors in license check thing, and wouldnt accept 'my' serial anymore 
I wonder what kind of network bullcrap it installed with 3dmax so i could get rid of it.. |
