My first digital illustration. <<hate saying this cos it gets posted alot! 
k, first impressions, well it is small. It was meant to be resized down to this. Or even smaller.
It's my first, so give me some suggestions!
and oh yeah, there are no eyes! yet...I'm hoping you guys could suggest how to?

Nice.. I like this style. It reminds me of a cathedral or soemthing with gargoyles on it. Just the way it is drawn and the colors.. I look forward to seeing your completed piece of this one..

| When I first glanced at this, I thought it was a photo of a little foam goblin head. Nice lighting and shading! |

Thx, Jenn and Sergenth. How do you think I should do the eyes? what colour for example? I have had limited success with them.
Jenn: My mum said the same thing about cathedrals and gargoyles!
Sergenth: Well I can't say I intended it to be foam! but hey....I'll work on that. thx for the shading compliment.
Just something I forgot to mention in the original post. This may have something to do with the foam comment.
I used a mouse (I will be getting a 6*8 Wacom). I did it in PaintShop Pro6 (I want to get PS & Painter).

As for the eyes, try a deep red for the iris. |
