Hi!
I think I finally was able to do an adequate sketch of the character I'm now playing for about 3 years in Ultima Online.
I really like the sketch, because I had this picture in my mind for a really long time, but it never turned out right. I will continue with more detail and color.
I would really appreciate some comments too :-).
Cu

Hi, Thanks for the suggestions!
I updated the pic, and I think I solved the "hangover"-problem. The cape looks into the other direction now, and it seems as if he has to lean against the wind.
I don't know yet, if I will color it, because it's just a char sketch after all. Maybe I'll try to do something else with the char and set him in a better composition and athmosphere.

Still looks like a drunken old man trying to keep from falling to the ground...
I guess nobody would lean like that against the wind

Well.... it's the placement of the stick. That's the reason he looks like he's going to fall over. I mean, if it was a pole attached to the ground... there'd be no problem with it. Also it's very impossible to lean like that without standing on your tipytoes. |

I think it looks fine. Yes it's true that a person couldn't really stand like that without falling over (unless the stick was attached to the ground). But then again, last time I checked, people could really cast spells, either. There is such a thing as artistic license.
I like it; it's stylized and suggests something magical or out of the ordinary.

I liek the whole styke of it. although yet again i am another person agreeing with the pole thingy. It reminds me of Robin Hood. you know the cartoon with a fox and that stork which is really robin hood. Well it reminds of that anyway.
Color it.
