Hi BurnOut, like your sketches, liked them alot! Yes, very Doug Chiangish, haha! I've also tried the technique a little, had a few shot's here right before x-mas. I've posted this before, but it's the same as you did. except I used 3 different greys, and a filt pen. But I think BIC's can produce beautiful results!!! Ballpen drawings are underestimated as art, can you guess why?

I liked the technique a lot, it was a very fast way of working. How did you like the technique? Do you think you'll use it more in the future?

-Kjetil

were you influence by them or you invented them???

accually, both of these just came to mind in class, there more influenced by doug chiang's stuff, have you seen his tutorial?

the top one is sorta like that, i just tend to draw circles apon circles hoping to come out with something cool. the bottom one was just influenced by thoes battle droid's from starwars

(ive just recently seen this art of starwars episode 1 book my friend bought, and ideas kind of stick)

haha, accually yea that does kind of look like joachim's gasmask dood

The robot on the right looks like Scud. I love that comic so I sorta just made the connection in my own mind. =) I like it!

That's a really interesting method... I should try it sometime, though I'll have to wait until I get some new markers as mine are all dried out. =P

SKYEDIVER...
I got a set of Pantone cold grey markers last month they are cool. ive done some simple renderings but not really worth posting. Only thing i got to say is that they are EXPENSIVE. if im correct a set of 12 was 80$ canadien. Each markers were almost 6$. Ah well their worth it ...
