Okay, well I took the pencil drawing of that man, and I colored it. So how do you think? It is my first pic ever, and I did it with a mouse.

Well, firstly, you should try to be patient when asking for critiques. A half hour really isn't a long time.
Now, about the pic. Well, it doesn't look too bad. You used the exact same colors as Dhab did, which I wouldn't recommend when coloring in others' sketches, but the shading is pretty good so far. Remember to think about your light source at all times, and try to give it more depth. Keep going with the shading, work in some darker shadows. Basically just do what you've already done and take it a few steps further. It's coming out pretty good.
But try to stay away from copying others too closely. It can be good as an exercise, but it's a bad habit to get into. |

Okay, well I used his pencil drawing because I dont have a scanner, and I dont have a wacom, at least not yet. Okay, thanks for your CRIT! i will follow your advice, even though somewhat unclear. OH yeah, and I also used his pencil because this was my first ever, and i needed something to work on. alright, i know, i won't use his pencils, or anyones for that matter, when i get my scanner/tablet. moooore crits!
