Well, jeffery and I did another topic painting, this time in the theme of a tiki hut (thanks Rivalz for the idea). As you can see, I sorta strayed from the topic a bit...
Took about 45 minutes - 1 hour. My main goal was to experiment with a portion of Rembrandt's basic palette and apply that to nature. Anyway, rip it to shreds if you like...I'm planning on doing one or two of these each day. (My artistic skill is below sewer level, so I'm going to work harder and harder to improve upon it. )

and i went crazy and cheated and worked on mine for 2 hours. so i won't post it here. i already posted it elsewhere.
mjm, what exactly is the rembrandt palette? its been a long time since i've taken any art history courses, and if i knew in the past, i've forgotten. i wouldn't mind playing around with it too.
