hey, well ive been working a little bit over the past few days, and im having a bit of trouble with the fur, any suggestions?

I don't really see any probs with the fur, to be honest. I have trouble with hair myself, though. Maybe you could try giving it more contrast (darker shadows, lighter highlights/shineyness).

maybe you could paint over it on a different layer on low transparency or something so you can save the detail, but still add highlights/shadows.
