This is my first real attemt at computer painting. I've done some comic-style coloring in the past, but that's as far as I've gone. You can see some of my other illustrations here: http://kromillustration.20m.com
Oh, just so you know, I don't have a Wacom pad yet, so this is all mouse (and a pencil sketch, of course).
I know there are lighting probs, and some spots are kinda blurry, but I thought that I could post it now before it's finished so that I can get some critiquing and suggestions.

Hi Krom, nice pic. Everything looks pretty good to me especially since you used a mouse.
You could try adding some darker shades in the recesses and folds to create more depth. Just a suggestion. Anyway, finish it up, nice pic
BTW: What is he doing? |

I had the staff/flag part figured out allready. That or he's a really bad boxer ...
Anyways, looks pretty good. Especially for using a mouse! I can tell you're not done, but if you get the same effect on the clothes that you did on the head this will come out very well.

i think the shading you've started with is really cool, especially with a mouse. i think his nose it too long though |
