Here are some head studies I made.

They were made without references or copying. I like them pretty good -- nothing too special. I plan to do some more things like this and add some more details. I've been wanting to do some pictures on grey paper for a while and when I seen the Asian woman sketch I thought I'd try it on the computer.

Try drawing heads in angles other than straight on or direct profile. These two view points are often the least interesting to look at, and in the case of face on, the hardest to add any depth to.

In general your feature are in the right places, and are the right size etc. Try to work on your noses, they all look rather straight, with rounded ends!! And some of your ears look like they were stuck on as an after thought.

Keep up the good work. Hugz Ampa.

Well... one thing you should try is do LARGER studies. Because, it can help you see better what your doing wrong when things are largers. Anyway, try to draw from different angles, not just front and profile. Try 3/4 view... as that is the hardest one yet. Anyway, I like your attempt at making the guy look downward. The problem with that is the chin doesn't taper fast enough. It just looks like a reglar face with slanted eyes. Also, for the hair, try drawing out the basic outline of it first instead of scribbling in things. You've got a long way to go...but you've got one heck of a start.
