how do u make a layer "Preserve Transparency" in photoshop 7? is that the same as "Multiply" on ps7? |

On the layers tab,
theres a small bar right above where your layers are listed labeled "lock: (4 icons)"
the first Icon, which looks like a grey/white checker pattern, is what you'
re looking for; lock transparency.
