You don't really need to take up a slot with a card. You can simply get a USB hub which plugs into your 1 USB port adding 2 to 5 additional USB ports. Most computer supply store should carry them... |

If you get a hub, make sure it's powered (aka, comes with an external power adapter). Otherwise, you'll have a problem with devices such as the tablet which take their power through the USB connection. |

Surely you do not require the scanner to be permanently "online" right" scanning takes little time, drawing takes a lot.
unplug the scanner, keep the tablet plugged in, when you need to scan, simply unplug the tablet, plug in the scanner and scan.

You really only have 1 usb port? Did you check everywhere? I just recently found 2 more on the front of my tower to make a total of 4.

I got my intuos 2 yesterday. My trouble installing just right at first step. I have problem.
My usb port already for my scaner. I don't have another usb port.
what I am goint to connect my tablete to computer? |

some PC's only come with 1 USB Port, like thinkwink said, get urself a 4 Port Powered HUB, they're prolly cheap as chips in the US, bout 24 quid over here.. ($37) |

Thank you guys. I brought a 4 port hub. Every thing are working now. I mean the tablete and painter 7...yeahhahahah weeeee... finerly.
Now I have to learn how to use this painter 7 stuff. Not easy not easy....
