Does anyone know if the Loomis books are available in PDF format? And if so where? I found the "Fun with a pencil" and "Figure drawing for all it's worth" at saveloomis.com, but I'm looking for "Succesful Drawing" or any of the other ones as well. Any ideas?

Damn it i once found it and posted the url to it. In pdf format yes, not html format or gif/jpeg files, etc.. damn it, i dunno, is there a way to look at posts that i posted in or something.. I think it was about me whining how much i sucked at drawing then started my 'loomis quest' and found the book in pdf

erm i could always upload it somewhere but erm.. not sure where since i think its like 25MB

So far (in PDF format) the only Loomis books I know to be available are:

Figure Drawing For All Its Worth
Fun With A Pencil

These are both freely available in a few places. Once again (for bump value), if we can get the rest of the Loomis books in PDF format, I will host them. I don't have the Adobe apps (or the time) necessary to convert all those images over at fineart.sk into PDF's.

I wonder if these can be had in a library sale? It's possible some of these exist in libraries and they don't know what they have, no?

Hello everyone. My email is back up now..
and yes, I do still have the pdf files on my computer at work. One of the various sites had all the pages from nearly all of his books... I have taken the time to create PDF files out of all of them. Just let me know where you want them at... and I'll upload them monday.

Well, I got "Figure Drawing" at saveloomis.org. Thanks AndyT. But I'd love to get my hands on "successful". Not to mention "head and hand". So I guess what I really mean to say is...

I'll post a new thread with the link once they're available.

NOTE: Depending on bandwidth useage I may have to leave them up only after business hours (East Coast US - 9 to 5). But we'll see how it goes first. That shouldn't be a big deal, whoever wants them can just snag them at night. Once we get them out there they'll begin to propagate on their own I would think.
