Is it possible to do an image like
this
without a tablet? i mean, i've been trying, but the line quality is really sharp.
i'm sorry if this debate has happened before, but doing searches for mouse and tablet gets way to many responses.
thanks,

Probably possible ...
But will probably take a 10 times longer with frequent use of Ctrl+z ... You would also have to fake the varying line thickness ... not easy ... you could use various techniques to "fake" this ... you can draw a line with the mouse, and the program converts the line to a brushstroke with varying thickness.

Yah. Mouse is proving *really* slow. Working on it, though. Thanks for the advice folks. Look for a post in the unfinished works section soon.

Check out Randis Albion. He does (or did?) all with the mouse! |

afaik he uses ballpoint or the likes for sketching and mouse only for coloring.
I still use the mouse over the pen sometimes, i some situations i feel that i have more detailled control with the mouse (I guess I just dont like zooming...).
