This weekend, I acquired myself a copy of Painter 7 for my PC. Well, after installing it, I booted to program, and found that the colors were totally messed up. The white background displayed as green and the windows were all messed up. System specs are as follows: 500MHz, 128 MB RAM, 8 MB video card. Now, as far as my video card goes, I updated the drivers when I got Warcraft 3, so I think it would be okay. Any ideas? This is really frustrating. Thanks!

Hi,

The very easy and simple solution is to change your screen colors to 24 bit or higher.

Enjoy Painter!

*smacks head* I must slay the first-born child of whomever changed my settings from 32-bit to 16-bit color. I hardly noticed a difference between the two during my daily activities. Thanks

Glad to hear it worked. Isn't it great when things are so simple?

It happened to me too. Turns out that sometimes a game would change your desktop during gameplay and not change it back.

now ive got something similar, but im not currently at home to check. but i noticed in PS6 that, since i got it even, the icons for the tools just looked like static in a small box! different coloured ones at that. sound like the same thing at all? the rest of the colouration is fine though.
ill have to check at home when i get there. if thats not it, any other ideas?
