Are you located in the Orange County area? I'm in the area and know of a few places that have open classes. And there are quite a few community colleges here as well. |

I'm over on the border or Fountain Valley and Huntington Beach.
In my area there's Coastline Community College, Orange Coast College, and Goldenwest College for schools.
There's a place up in Santa Ana called Orange County Art Studios, it's an okay school so long as you're already versed in the basics of drawing. They have an uninstructed figure drawing workshop every monday night for a $5 fee. Very useful if you haven't drawn from a live model before. Their website isn't updated too often but here's the link: http://www.orangecountyartstudios.com/
One of those Art Institute trade schools opened up in the area around South Coast Plaza, and I think they have a closer branch up where you are. Their classes don't exactly follow the same schedule as the community college, so you might be able to find a class in there. As a warning, it's expensive. |
