hi, well, i have been lurking here for about... em, well, a long time really... up until now i have devoted myself to 3d art, but it is time i learned to paint, so i can do both paintings and textures.... also i believe i will learn a lot about form and light by painting...
"so what, go learn to paint then and stop bothering us" i hear you mutter to yourself...
well, at the moment, i am teaching mysaelf via tuts on the net, well, the apple and tomato off 3dluvr... really enjoying myself, but its frustrating with the mouse.... i do plan on getting a tablet, but at the moment my mortgage and list of loans are crippling me.... so the tablet is on hold for a while....
BUT, while i am learning with the mouse, i am sure i can learn some very useful things...
can any body help point me to sites with painting tuts, please?? lots of them, from beginner to advanced tuts.... i just want to learn....
please help |

Well, how would you rate your skills on drawing using natural media? You could just work out your skills on drawing with pencil, oils, gouache and so on... Just draw and draw and draw It will be alot easier to start drawing with computer, if you have a good basement to start with. |
