Well, I've looked at finearts.sk but its hard to define where the muscles go because they are so bulked. Does anyone have any links to pictures from comic books such as the x-men, batman is ok i guess, and superman. Because I see this guy of his anime drawings and they kick. http://www.artprojectx.com/forum/modules.ph p?set_albumName=album96&id=acc&op=modload&name=gallery&file=index&include=view_photo.php
I need someone on the net that can help me do muscles like his. Muscle mags aren't helping. Basic muscle anatonmy would be nice.
Plus when I think of something in my head and I want to draw it. It turns out way different and I don't really know how its suppost to look like, and what part of the body or material is suppost to be hidden and how much before its lookes like the guy its snapped in to 5200 pieces.
Thanks for your help

Pictures alone won't help if you want to learn to come up with your own images. If you want to draw a coherent character you'll have to learn at least the basics of anatomy.
Maybe you want to find something that you can apply to what you already know?
Besides there's so much stuff @ finart.sk that you need to add what you have already seen there!
Some Link 1
Some Link 2
Some Link 3
Some Link 4
Some of the model sheets there look a lot like the pictures you posted. |

judging by your sentence, you wanna learn anatomy. there is no easy answer other than hard work. stop looking for crutches.
as for where the muscles go, you have to study muscle origin and insertion points.. this probably wasnt what you wanted in a reply.
good luck and have fun |

well if your willin to spend a lil money, i suggest bying Dynamic Figure Drawing by Burne Hogarth its an excelent book with lots of examples. it sells for around $30 canadian. you do the math
also, typically anime characters dont have huge muscles. typicaly, even for a strong character, the muscles arent huge; but farily defined. one of the exceptions, obviously is dbz
