Hey, haven't posted here in a while... anyway, i'm positive most of you have seen the toyota matrix commercial, and are aware of what vector art is. i really, really want to jump into this. can anyone direct me to where to begin, send me over some pointers, tips, things like that? |

I don't watch TV so I'm not familiar with the commercial you're talking about.
Vector art is a very broad topic. Can you be more specific about what caught your eye? |

Adobe Illustrator is the best tool if im not mistaken for that sorta art, since it has 'object based' drawing which is vector art i assume unless um eant something else by that cause hmm i never saw that commercial :X |

Using Macromedia Flash.. you can create vector art.. and animate...
you can visit Flashkit.com for great tips on flash there..
Adobe Illustrator and Macromedia Freehand are great products as well that allow you to create vector art..
Adobe has a program called Streamline... its sort of old, but you can turn almost any picture in to vector art with it... very basic program...
anyhow..

Streamline is a cool program, and it has so many uses, unfournetly, it's nearly $150 for a very small (4mb) program. Does anybody know of any decent alternatives? (Possibly freeware ones) |
