Here you can see a try I made:[*]http://www.pbase.com/image/3832372 Did it in Photoshop 6... But I really need a lot of advices.
can anybody of you explain me the whole thing about colortheory again? How I choose the colors for shadows and shading and for highlights, etc. ???
Would be really great!

try a search in the active forums or forum archives on "color theory" or "values","value studies", "jason manley". there's lots and lots of stuff already discussed. there's some experimental info. on basic/values warm/cool skintones in the workshop section of my site too, tho' the better info. will be found by searching the forums.
good luck and happy painting.

oops, almost forgot the most important thing-- read the "color" section of Loomis' "Creative Illustration" -- you can download the whole thing here: http://www.fineart.sk/

Thanks so far! Im realizing, that theres really a LOT of stuff there to read !!! Well, more difficult in detail than I thought...
Before opening this topic I didnt even knew about the "search" function, its really very helpful.
So this helped me twice
thx
