Am I the only one that feels that this forum is slow. I think dhab should start looking for a new one. Perhaps vbulleting or phpBB. Since those are database driven and much faster.
Wich forum do you think is the best ? |

I think most of us agreed that phpBB2 looked quite good when we discussed this a while back. The idea was presented to Dhabih but I havent heard a decision yet. |

Is it possible to import the current posts (complete forum) into phpBB2? I've seen the import script for vbulletin but not for phpBB2. |

everything is possible :P
It's sad but dr.bang is right
But i think we could do something. Install somewhere phpbb2 and then make theme similar to oryginal, find converter from ubb to phpbb, and than give all this stuff to mr dhabih. He will have to do much less, so maybe this will increase possibilty for the forum uptadte.

I did get in contact with Dhabih and he was still interested in the forums. He asked me to send him all the ideas I had collected (a lot of stuff) and he was going to take a look at it.
Was expecting a reply by now though.
And yes, there is a convertor for phpBB2. |
