Im completely stuck on the program, obviously im a complete loser newbie at it. I was wondering if any of you guys knew of any cool sites that might help me out?

There is a whole book with tutorials that comes with the program.

Try these: 3dtotal, 3dCafe, Renderosity, Maxforums. All these are www.com sites I think. On them you can find links to other sites also. Good luck. If you have any specific questions, feel free to E-mail me, I might be able to help you since I also use MAX4.

Michel Roger's Joan of Arc character is simply the best tutorial you will find out there. I've just found today on his page one cool fella has translated his french tutorial in english over at :
