Remember this guy from last time?
He had a website full of stolen artwork from Sijun people..Guess what..He's at it again:

Craig Mullins, Joachim, Saffron, me and other people..Some of the art has been changed by Mr.Pichinoty..and credited to him.

Use the scrolldown window to get to other pages..

I think it's more serious this time since he's actually making money on this..

I wrote to M4de about it and he mentioned that Pichinoty wrote him and asked him to erase all the content about him on his site, beacause some employers kicked him out after a short research on google / forums....Booyah!

I'm not sure what's more criminal. Stealing the artwork... or the dreadful, pull-down web navigation he's implemented.

Hope someone keeps tabs on this rip-off merchant.

I think all of us digital artists out there on the web should have a "black list" section on our sites. That guy Pisshitty would be the star, that's for sure.
I'm glad he sent that e-mail to M4de then, he digs his own grave.

Heh, I wish my art was good enough for someone to want to steal.

But seriously though, imagine as best you can just for a moment, that you have a portfolio full of other peoples work and you are about to show it off to someone as your own. That feeling of horror, shame and sickness that you feel of suddenly putting yourself in that situation... Isn't it mind boggling that someone would willingly try to do that? More then once?!

People. I don't get them sometimes.

I've e-mail the guy a nice little e-mail. I don't think that site is his, has anyone told the person who owns it that the art on his site is ripped? Is there anyway to prosecute this guy?

If I were you I would seriously do something about this. The only way this punk will learn is if you scare him. Best way to do that is write a legal letter to him. Let him know that if all art isn't removed in 48hours, a lawsuit will be filled and court action will be taken.

I he doesn't do it, I would seriously think about taking him to court.

Dom : The thing is, I don'T know how international law works in order to prossecute someone from another country on copyright laws. I'm really curious to know the ropes about it all. Hmmm where's a lawyer when you need one.

email the band or whatever they are about the fraud (in french?), and then email john pichinity and tell him that you are going to kill him and torture him and eat him and that you are watching him at all times waiting to pounce....if you do it well enough..hes likely to be a little bit disturbed!

If it were me that were the victim here I would be chasing up my legal options asap. There are principals here, and if you don't have them then what's the point? He's claiming he never received payment for the images he used.. but why believe that when he's lied about the ownership of the work?

Copyright laws are there to protect people like you, you should make the time to take this further. At the very least, you should try to get that site and it's content taken down.

Ahh didn't know that was not his website. As to what he says. If he lost the ftp info. I would know email the service provider at which the site is hosted. Kindly asking them to remove it. They are hosting stolen content, so in part they are responsible for it as well. If you have one english speaking person in that business I am sure the site will go down in a matter of minutes. Send them the guys reply as well.
