Can I get a link of what each mode does or can someone tell me and maybe give some examples of when to use the different ones? |

Your best teacher is experimentation.
Search at google for 'photoshop blending modes' and you are likely to get some discussion of it somewhere.
I don't have 7 yet.. and it kinda hard to explain them anyway. Just use them when they give you the desired effect you want. There are no hard and fast rules. What you see is what you get. |

search help for "selecting a blending mode"
One that isn't explained well is linear dodge; it simply adds 2 colors, which can be very useful. |
