Is there any zoom at all available within Liquify? Or how can I make PS understand that I want my selection to cover the bigger part of the the grey area within Liquify?
If there exist no solution to this, are there any programs, plugins or otherwise with the same functionality? Does it exist a program that can manipulate a 2d image much like 3d objects can be deformed through the likes of lattices? |

Yeah, liquify is sometimes a pain in the butt.
You might try to find Elastic Reality - an old but good program - was used to do morphs - but has excellent warping tools. (Nowadays they mostly use it for rotoscoping) .
Anyway - I think there's also a filter in AfterFX that has a nice lattice (I might be wrong).
If that doesn't help, try to get a hold of NothingReal's (now Apple's) Shake. I'm pretty sure it's got a warp lattice ...
"Warp Lattuce" - that's what one finds in a Big Mac ... har har |

You could try reading up about 'displacement maps' it is a feature within photoshop.
Also, 'KPT goo' a third-party plugin...does similar things as the liquify tool, but you can zoom and animate too!
Hope that helps. |

Ah super, lots of suggestions, I'll look into all of them. Thanks a bunch. I assume the Liquify tool in version 7 is no better than in 6? That woul really be too bad, all it needs is minor tweaks to let you acctually work comfortably with it. |
