No, you absolutely need to buy the 150*100 cm Intuos XV and the $9999 "4D Strawberry Illustro-Spooger" pen for it, before you can hope to produce anything worthwhile.

But seriously... You say you like your Graphire very much - what do you think you could do with a more expensive tablet that you can't with the small one currently? The expensive tablets are just bigger, which is nice but not exactly crucial. They also have a nicer pen and some other accessories. And although the resolution and number of pressure sensitivity levels are higher, they're just numbers... They don't really make any difference for the quality of your artwork - even the old ArtPad which had only 256 pressure levels worked just fine.

(I'm sure this has been discussed many, many times before in this forum - did you try doing a search first?)

the tools are only as good as the artist that uses them. if you like your tablet stick with it. waste you money on something else ^__^

I have the WACOM Pen-Partner, a low-end, low-res, low-speed tablet that I think they even stopped making, and it suits me just fine. Granted, I'm a poor artist to being with, but even the lowest-gradient tool is better than a mouse. My rule: when I make enough money from selling a piece, then I'll upgrade. Sure hope they make PCs with serial ports in 30 years...
