I know some people like to keep thier custom brushes secret. Much like grandmas secret recipe for chicken pot pie. However, I thought that this a community that is very open to sharing so I post my lame custom brushes for others to use and hope others will too.

Well, your welcome. I know that my brushes are not that spectacular, but hey share and share alike. I guess no one else wants to trade customs, shame really.

Nifty!

I'd share my custom brushes, but I don't have any.

I always like looking at how different people do things, thier approches that is.

Mr.T those are some very interesting brushes. They look kinda like photomanipulation. Really cool though. What were they originally designed for?

Kaete- don't feel bad use this as a motivator to createsome

Basement bound: dunno about photomanipulation,i started with white canvas and black paintbrush tool. used sharpen sometimes. the big ones are just to add some interesting base textres, the smaller ones were for forest and rocks, and other various purposes. combining them there are many possibilites open.

i made a couple sets out of old sketches and some scanned cork textures that i think turned out pretty cool. but this is actually the set i use the most, made from old watercolor spatter paintings of mine (except the bottom left, that's from an extra of my teeth)

Okay, this is a pretty big image, so just click the link:

http://www.gorblimey.com/rubbish/brushes.jpg

You don't have to worry about them making your work look like mine, either, because I've barely used any of them--I used the second from the left, top row, and the first from the left, in one image...the others, I hardly touched.
