Do I have to have my pictures on the net if I want to display them in a post or what?

I don't get this UBB gestrudel.

Yes you do. There is an FAQ that explains most questions like this. The button is at the top right of the page.

You'll need to upload it to a server. If you use Geocities then that adds extra problems because they do not allow 'hot-linking' of images. Meaning they don't allow you to use images on the server, unless they are called up by an html page on the same server. It's to stop ppl from using them just to store files.
