First, the stats:
I've got a 700mhz P. processor with 64RAM and I'm running Windows ME with PS 5.5. My tablet is a 4x5 ArtPad II. As far as I know I've got the most recent drivers.
Occasionally the tablet works fine, but randomly (and very frequently) it will suddenly act as though I'm pressing lighter and lighter, and even a thick brush line trickles to a thin one, becoming a few pixels wide. Sometimes the line vanishes altogether, no matter how hard I press. The eraser continues to work normally.
I got this tablet used, so it's possible that it is damaged, but I'd like to make sure I'm not going to have the same problem if I dish out for a brand new one.
Anyone ever run into this before?

I have not had problems like you mentioned, but I have noticed that if you press too hard on the eraser it will stick and cause the pen to wig.
Solution: turn the eraser to free up some clearance.
I don't know if this will help your problem though it is worth a try. |
