Damn! That is some nice stuff. I'm surprised I had never seen his work.
You asked how he was able to paint like that. Well...not only is he a highly skilled 2D artist, but he's also a highly skilled 3D one.
You mix those two together and your able to make some astounding images unseen by traditional artists. Throw in a high talent pool around you day by day and you have the icing.
Cool stuff. Thanks for pointing him out. ;-)
