Hey all, just wanted to know what Programs do yea'll use for your artwork?
I am just getting into the Computer side of art, currently I use Fireworks and Photoshop. I took a look at Ray Dreams for the 3D look but seems very complicated( though puts out some nice artwork).
Im trying to learn how to texure and shade( color) my pencil art on the comp, any info would be helpful. Thx

I do web based user interface design and content illustration. The tools I use the most are Photoshop, Illustrator and Dreamweaver.

Hi,

While you're exploring programs, just today I learned that there's a 30 day trial version of Painter 7 available for download. It's a marvelous program so I'd strongly suggest taking advantage of this opportunity to learn about it:

Happy Painting!

scrap fireworks. i dunno. i tried it and it dont make sense to me. use photoshop and learn it inside out. it concentrates on a wider range of work than painter. learn one first then get into the other. dont get me wron painter is a great program and ive got it too, but im just learning it. btw visit my site (a bit of advertising shouldnt do me any harm hehehe)
