I showed this to a few ppl here at work.. And opening the webpage of the real artist and compare the two pieces. You should've heard the swearwords and slurs !! lol !

Oh the "best" erased signature is Agent44's rollerball red robot-guy... even the JPG artefact has been smoothed out.. and resaved at a different JPG compression...

Ken: there was also some stuff from Scott Campbell (Danger Girl ?)....

Y a rien fouttre de mieux Montpellier f crrre !...

I don't understand the reasoning behind stealing a bunch of other people's art and claiming it as your own on a website that probably uses some stolen graphics as well.
Why do some people feel such an urge to impress other people? It just doesn't make any sense to me. Its odd that I ran into this topic because I swear the other day I ran into a game development site that stole a graphic I made on my homepage. It wasn't anything big, just a marble bar graphic, but I am about 90% sure it was originally made by me. But then again, I never put up a copyright message or anything on my site, either. But I guess some people want the recognition and are unwilling to work to get it. I had some sprites I did a long time ago that were stolen by another user who simply claimed them as theirs, so this sort of thing does not surprise me at all.

That's so outrageous, it's funny...

He even used Craig's digitalart.org (nature section) top rated "El Dorado by Waterfall" in his misc section... as if that's not going to be noticed...

I think he's just trying to get girls... You've heard the saying, "Take your clothes off, it's OK I'm an artist."

I'm impressed how someone can be so dumb! It is not the first time I see someone stealing art, but this guy is the craziest I've ever seen!

I wonder how he can sell himself to Video Games companies now, with such a site. The video game world is a "small world" here in France ( as everyone kind of know each other ). With such display, this guy could not expect people to trust him!

I know people in Montpellier, perhaps I could spread his name and his shameless act

Anyway it is a great collection of pictures! All my favorites are there

With his name being here in this forum I guess his image as an artist is definitely ruined. And that wont heal so quickly (if ever...).
I would suggest to close this thread now. Otherwise its going to be an eternal shame for him. Lets hope he learned his lesson well...

>>Anyway it is a great collection of pictures! All my favorites are there<<

At least he seems to know where he would like to be with his skills...

just for information and the fun of it.

His resume says he worked for Darkworks (Video games company in Paris). It seems no one knows him there
