I know this is kind of off topic but I've been looking for this for a year and maybe someone here might know..
I'm looking ofr a timer of sorts..one that you could stop/start/pause etc. to time how long it takes to create a piece of artwork
like for instance..most architecture designs have the little quote by them [44 hours] or [158 hours] etc.
I was hoping to find one for my PC so I could time myself on my artwork, plus it'll help to give me a kick in the butt sometimes..
but does anyone know of one for the PC that is free? I don't feel like paying for one but I can't even find one that you have to pay to use...
thank you in advance |

1 - create a new document and save it.
2 - paint your picture.
3 - save it as a different file when you're done.
4 - compare the timestamps on the two files to come up with your total working time.
Not what you asked for, but just as easy. |

I could always look at the clock too but that's not what I meant..heh...don't think I'm trying to be rude or anything...sory if it comes out like that
I need a timer to pause and start/stop, etc.
I don't know if even one exists yet |

Yes, a timer of sorts, that would be useful.
I have no idea how long my work takes me. I estimate between 10 and 20 hours for an average piece, but don't know for sure.
The bad thing about a clock is that if I go for a break, or surf the net I forget to subtract the amount of time I've not been working. Plus I don't wanna have to keep making logs or time sheets.
What I need is some software that counts the time I have photoshop open and selected as my primary window. I doubt there is such a timer, but we can always dream |
