just started doing this yesterday, and boy did i have fun!
i experimented with coffee mostly, i will branch out more over the weekend.
what you do is take regular pieces of 8.5x11 printer paper and get it all grungy.
i took a sheet and got it wet, put goffee grounds on it and sprayed it with windex, then wadded it up and let it sit for about 45 minutes, then i unfolded it and let it dry. brushed off the coffee flakes and scanned it in:
played around in photoshop with it couldnt believe what i was getting.
took me about 20 minutes to make this image, after grunge paper was made that is. the flower is from a photo, i was just seeing what it would look like.
lets see some of your grungy paper textures!

hey.... that's really awesome.
i guess i posted my other topic at the perfect time eh?
this is pretty cool, i never really thought of making textures in real life, scanning it in, and using it digitally. |
