I'm Mr. New here at Dhab's Forums and would like to say hello to everyone! ;-)

I recognize many of you and your work and love the variety I see here. I think it's awesome that Dhab took the time out to create such a fantastic place for artists to come together.

Hello Dhab!...It's been about 2 years I think since I last talked with you my friend. I hope Team Fortress 2 is going well. God knows we've been waiting years for it to come out. ;-)

Anyway...I look forward to going through some of the older posts and getting some great tips from you all.

Thanks for your kind welcome all.

After scanning some of the posts last night I saw all kind of great tips.

Mr.T, your work is awesome my friend. That's great that you've taken the time out to show people how you work. It takes a lot extra time to do so and a good heart. ;-)

I appreciate your comment too James. I like your orc a lot! It's nice seeing other fantasy guys out here.

Just so you know, Dhab doesn't post here anymore. He hasn't done so for a looog time now. I doubt he even comes to the forum at all.

I went through and showed my oldest son the work from all the artists who posted a welcome.

It appears all of you need to teach Dad how to paint like you cause you all are "Awesome" he says. I agree. ;-)

Thanks for everyone's welcome and I really enjoyed seeing your work too. It's about my bedtime again...so once again, have a goodnight.

That's unlike Dhab to not check up on his boards or site for this amount of time.

Is he ok Admins? He's not sick or anything?

People that are in touch with him says he's too busy.

I think he just lost interest. I mean, he works at one of the best game companies and working on one of the most anticipated titles, while taking time off for vacation to Africa and such.

When real life is that interesting, an online forum kinda loses it's luster for some people. Especially one that periodically goes to shit with all the flame wars. It's been fairly controlled recently though. I think the mods being more critical and watchful made a big difference.
