Colony One
Erimo
Yocky
I only got a couple. I'm picky. But all of the above involve some sort of different "Anime" spin on things. I like it 'cause it's darker, gloomier, or it has a different taste of style. Like as in the case of Erimo's page. It just looks hella different...well still some cute stuff here and there... But the other two no, I love Yocky's sketches. And CO's watercolors (CG's?) are great to look at. It's got that "papery" feel to it. |

Wow, this is a great thread, it's so diverse. I know these guys aren't Digital but all the digital artists I like have already been mentioned.

Holyshit! I'm a Sargent fanatic(owns lots of books on his work, and even took off from work and flew to Seattle just to see his exhibition). The JSS gallery contains works of his I've never even seen! Amazing.
My respect for Sargent grows with every new piece of his work I see. The man is not only incredibly talented, but fucking PROLIFIC! |

Coming from a totally different background I've got a few slightly diferent suggestions:
illustration:
Jason Brooks
Kirsten Ulve
Walkcycle
3d:
Steven Stahlberg
Igor Posavec
Eni Oken
Never been into into american comics or fantasy art, but I'm enjoying checking the links above. I did used to like french comics years ago, people like Moebius and Enki Bilal but I don't know if they're well known in the US. |
