This forum used to be so much better. Around Christmas time a lot of people stopped posting and never came back.
I think a lot less people reply to other peoples posts too. I think that's why a lot of people have given up and left. I don't want to be one of them.
Don't be selfish people of sijun. Reply to other peples posts and help them out. Isn't that what we are here to do....

i was/still am thinking of leaving...well not posting anymore. I find no point in posting my work if i'm not going to get any helpful crits or replies. Thats also another reason why i dont bother drawing. I'll leave all that to Isric and Donk. I'll just sit back with my own traditional pieces of crap and use them for my own personal enjoyment.
Although even if i were to pronounce my departion i have a feeling not many would care. Anyway, now that thats off my chest continue on....

yeah- I just joined recently, and have found some good info (Color Theory) and some nice work with very well done comments by the other artists here.

Unfortunately a lot of the last postings tend to be conversation starters, places to vent, or just places where the same people pop in to drop meaningless comments.

Guys--GET A LIFE--yes we all have opinions and frustrations, but where is the ART?? And someone tell Faust that he REALLY needs to get a life, or laid or something.........

I expected that kind of reply. See what I mean?

I have checked out your work and think you have done some great stuff. I know a lot of people who would give anything to be able to do that level of work (including me). I appreciate your design, the decisions you have made in your work, and the fine execution of it.

Now my question is-how far are you going to get with that overflowing attitude? It's a fact of life, that people think it's cool when you start, but after a while it just gets to be too high maintenance for most people to be around in a work environment. I used to work with a guy that was Mr. Know it all. If you had the special one of a kind 36 inch version, he had the 37 inch special version that that company made. It got old really fast, especially when he fixed an item, then expected me to test it and sign my name on the repair slip-in case it didn't work, so I would get the blame.

I understand that this is a community with shared interests, and you guys love to chat. Sorry that I stepped on your toes Faust........

I stopped cause of 2 reasons. 1 being I graduated and I was looking for a job. That was the main reason. But 2 is because there were some wack conversations (the phil campfire postings) that I was getting kindof tired of fighting with.

well I'm pretty sure this point was brought up before but that's why there is an art section,so you wouldn't have to wade through a ton of crap to actually look at the pictures. What else do you expect to happen in the Random musing area, the musings tend to be random and that's the way I like em.

...in the end all forums turn to whine/bitch/kissass fests... 2d/3d/tech/all ends up the same...
Though I have to say that when I first got here it was quiet refreshing... on most of other forums users try to outshow eachother with either software (arguing about which on is bettr), or how 'leet' they are *sigh*. At least here there was actually friendly critiques/suggestions. Moderated forums seems to weed out the @#%# but they become quiet very quickly; just shows how much crap is posted.
