I was checkin out some sites as i normally do when bored, and i came upon this...

Feng Rip Off?

i dont think that wallpaper does him justice at all...nor do i think he had permission to use that?? am i wrong?

wow hehe stolen character AND even worse a lense flare - that a 1.1 (0.1 for the nice blue colors) on a scale from 1 to 10 hehe

Remember that HUUUUGE thread on Sijun where everyone painted Feng's drawing? Someone possibly got the idea to nick it from there.

Well I bet ripping off is one jackass thing you would do to someone - But when I think it to happen to myself I would maybe enjoy a little. It'd be partly flattering. - - Although, maybe it's so because I'm not any good artist yet

I don't understand how this is a rip off?? The guy is not trying to sell the art or claim it is his?? I do think he should give feng credit but I don't see this as a rip off

I've seen the same pic used elsewhere!

One night a few weeks ago my wife was browsing through the many girly sites the net has sprouted when she called me over to check out a "cool picture".

I waltz on over to the puter only to see that very same picture, only it was the version painted by Spooge taken from the coloring thread. And as usual, no credit given to the artists.

Wish I could find the url. I'll have to send the wifey off to search for it.

Edit: Forgot to mention, the image was used as the layout of the site. Pic on left, everthing else on right, other elements mixed in. Didn't look bad, just wish they would have given the artists the credit they deserve.

wow, they were pretty quick on snatching it up too form the looks of it... they don't waste anytime.

The Magic Pen: It is a rip off, because he has used it without permission. It doesn't matter if he isn't selling it or not, the simple fact remains that he didn't ask permission.

Maybe he did ask permission though!? We just have to see what Feng Zu says. So don't jump the gun and email anyone yet, just let Feng Zu know first.
