if it sucks, why is that?

I don't know about that brand. I just got my Aiptek tablet last night, and it seems to work fine. The biggest thing I've heard on the differences between brands is that Wacoms will never brake (an exaggeration). As long as you're comfortable with the size, they'll last you years and years and years. The other tablets are a little iffy on how many years they'll work.

The Wacom driver seem to be better as well.
