guys, i just saw this new book at the book store. (i'm sorry if you guys talked about this on another thread)
i was flipping through it (alittle disapointed) and then i saw steven stahlberg's work, dude you had like 4 pages! your figures mades those other ones look like they were created by children. its nice and reafirming to know that digital art is poop without traditional drawing skills. alot of stuff in there were so generic looking.
i recommend everyone to take a look
it's pretty cool that we (forum geeks) had a sneak peek at your images before the book people!
edit- the book is called "digital beauties"

Cool, someone I know and who knows me actually found it and saw my images! I've been wondering how much exposure that book would get, that's great...
Yeah, there's a lot of Poser works in there... some of it's really good, most of it is kinda boring.
It's a great big thick book called Digital Beauties, by Taschen, a german publisher, compiled by a guy who used to work in Japan, that's why we get to see so many japanese artists work in there. Some of that work is damn good, especially if you consider they use a japanese program called Shade which is only available in Japan (I think), and not at all as advanced as Maya or XSI or Max or Lightwave (again, I think - I've never used it, can't read Japanese). |

Just got this book! Overall, I really like it, but I can't say I care too much for the Poser stuff. I really love Rene Morel's work.
Excellent stuff as usual, Steven. |
