Hi,
I'm been wandering why there is a problem in photoshop 6.0. When i make my backround dark grey the cursor never shows up! I've been getting angry with it. So can someone help me? I would be delighted you do so.
Here's an example: |

it does that cause the cursor takes the value and uses its opposite grayscale. if its over black, the cursor is white, if its white, the cursor is black. dark gray has a light gray cursor. over 50% gray, however, the opposite somehow works out to be 50% gray. as far as i know, there isnt anything that can be done. if i have to do something exact over 50% gray, i usually hide that layer till i get my selection made, |

I've bitched about this in the past too.
I say we email Adobe and ask them do something about it in the next version?
We've got thousands of forum members. If enough of us email them, I'm sure they'll take notice.
Maybe they can code the next version so that when the software detects that the cursor is floating on the middle gray range, it'll generate random colored pixels in the cursor? |

How about you ask them to slap out that stupid web-friendly stuff too while you're at it... that would make me very happy. They should start another product line for that... |

Ppppffft. I'll second that. Stupid web-shit. I DO use the auto-generate web gallery thing when I'm too lazy to make my own thumbnails though.... |

Argh! The cursor reverse-out in Windows Photoshop has always been a big pain in the ass. It works correctly on a Mac, but wether this is a video card issue or a software issue or what, I don't know. At certain luminosity values the cursor disappears completely in Windows Photoshop. Pathetic. |
