i saved up and decided to forgo the graphire for the intuos 6x8 special edition (no difference in hardware except that it's teh sexay in translucent black... )
[edit] that was during summer... [/edit]
just curious, but is there any difference in tablet hardware between the intuos and intuos2? i can't for the life of me remember if my intuos has 512 or 1024 levels of pressure sensitivity... although i gotta say, i'm digging those pics of the new pen...

Intuos is 1024, Graphire is 512. No idea about the differences betwixt the I and the II. |

okay, thanks, i just wanted to reassure myself about my precious black translucent intuos... since i don't need the cordless/wheel-less mouse that comes with the intuos2, the only thing i'm envying about it is the spiffy new grip pen it comes with... |

no, there are no major different between Intuos 1 and 2. Pressures and resolutions level are the same. |

www.wacom.com
get Wacom Graphire2 4x5
if you're serious about art, get Intuos2 |
