I first visited this newsgroup and posted some messages about my attitude and philosopy about art. Seems like nobody appreciated my opinion.

Seems like people on that newsgroup are like another fine art snobs, except that many of them still consider technique important. They seem to hate any 'entertainment-related' art.... I was traumatized by their hostility...

We might actually be able to judge whether or not the people posting to that newsgroups are in fact disillusioned, or if you were wrong in whatever you said. If you actually told us what was said instead of just telling us you had your feelings hurt, that might be easier accomplished. :P

There you go, the reason they're being rude to you is probably because it's a "fine art" newsgroup. People in fine arts are normally angry.
