how long do you use it nonstop before you really get a cramp in your arm? and is it dangerous if you keep getting it? |

I hear you on the arm-ache, my friend. I don't have a tablet but I can rack up the hours with my dead arm over the mouse. After a while you can pop your wrist three or four times just rotating it. If this is happening to you, MAYBE worry a little. But I do it a lot and, eh, well, it hurts. Hmm.
My friend Sasha has a tablet and racks up hours, too. She doesn't use her computer until she's come back from karate, most days, so she's perhaps more limber, or at any rate never seems to tire of using her pen.
Just watch out if you can't flex your hand open all the way. Heh heh heh! Your pinky can "ingrow" and cause some major handicaps. And you can get CVS -- that fake symptom from staring at computer monitors. And your hair will fall out.
I spend so much time on my comp that my right shoulder doesn't line up with my left one. It's moved FORWARD. Probably more of a back problem.
You know, actually, that's not funny. I think I'll get up for a bit. |

mr lonely: i wasnt posting 3 topics in 30 mins, topic start is not the same as last post. if you like i could ask all my questions in one topic next time.
little bee: ok i dunno which parts to take seriously. but i think its all about getting used to the tablet. mine is a little too big, 20x15, so thats prolly the cause. |

Hmmm, I use mine 14 hours a day sometimes, for several days at a time. It's not always comfortable doing that, but as long as you schedule some breaks and massage your drawing hand, with a little practice you can use the tablet indefinitely.
My big problem on those marathon sessions has never been my hand, but rather my neck and shoulder.
